Based loosely on PC 1001.36 where individuals must have a DSM V mental illness (including substance use disorder) included in PC 1001.36 (nearly all diagnoses in DSM V). This is a new program and is meant to serve individuals who have a less severe mental illness (as compared to MHC) and who have committed less serious crimes (compared to AIC and MHC).
